Here is a partial list of horses that are available for adoption.

Pequina is a 13-year old Peruvian Paso/TB cross mare. She is about 14.3 hands, has excellent ground manners and is not spooky.  Pequina has had 91 days saddle training but not the saddle time that she needs to be a good riding horse. Pequina is very green and would require a calm, quiet, confident, experienced rider.
Or, more training to get her up to speed.

Dixie is a 19-yr. old, 15.1 hand paint mare. She is a retired barrel racer. She does trail, is not spooky, has excellent ground manners and requires an intermediate rider.

Ellie

Ellie is approx. 13-yr. old, 14.3 hands, is an Arab/paint cross mare.  Ellie has done trail but has been sitting for the last year.  She is trained both English & Western.  Ellie will ride like a paint and then also can ride like an Arab.  She will need someone with experience for those Arab moments.  She can be talked thru almost anything once she knows and trust you.  Ellie does not cross water (ever).

Dancer

Dancer is a 21-yr. old NSH gelding.  He is 15.1 hands. Dancer was a State Park Patrol horse in his younger years.  He is still great on the trail, is sound and healthy.  Dancer does require a confident rider or he will not be the best that he can be.

A 16 hand, 9 yr. old TB mare.  Lover Girl has not been trained for the trail yet.  She is good in the arena, sound and healthy.  She does require a strong, experienced rider.

A 13 yr. old TB gelding.  He is 16 hands, very sweet and willing.  He is sound, healthy and needs his own person.  D'ar has not been trained for the trail.  He is a little spooky out there so far and would be better suited for someone who wants to play in the arena or around the ranch.  He is flashy and a nice mover.

A 20 yr. old Arab/paint cross mare.  She is 14.2 hands, very cute, very sweet, sound and healthy. Tye has been ridden on trail by children and is ready to find her own small adult or child.  Tye is ready to hit the trails, she can be ridden by beginners in the arena and intermediate on the trail.

A 2 1/2 yr. old TB gelding.  He is 15.2 hands right now and should mature around 16 hands.  Danny is in training (Parelli) and has past his stage one.  He is very smart, curious and sweet. He will make someone a very nice riding horse as well as a big buddy. 

23 yr old, 14.3 hand qtr gelding.  Bailey was a roping horse and has not been ridden in approx. 6 years.  He is quiet, has great ground manners, in an excellent companion horse and we don't see any reason not to get him back under a saddle for a light rider.

3 yr old Mustang mare.  She will reach around 15.2 to 15.3 hands when grown.  She has a beautiful dun color, is sound and healthy.  She is saddle trained but needs more saddle time.  She will require someone with experience to finish her.  Luna will make a good endurance, trail, what-ever-you-want-to-do with her kind of horse.
